Originally a spin-out technology company from Imperial College London, Hydroventuri has established headquarters in South Wales, UK. The company has also established a satellite business in North America and continues to develop its potential offering across the USA, Canada and Europe.
Hydroventuri's gas exchange and aeration technology offering has many applications across the global water, power and industrial processing markets. In the near term the global municipal water and industrial wastewater treatment sector is the primary focus. However, in the near future the company also expects to commercialise across a diverse range of applications in hydroelectric power plants, thermal power stations, biofuels, CO2 sequestration and industrial process gas transfer. To this end Hydroventuri is establishing major strategic alliances with leading industrials and end-user customers, including utilities and engineering service providers, and is now embarking on commercial scale demonstration projects to support licensing activity for it's technology.
The company is funded through private equity from a number of sources including Porton Capital, Synergis Technology Funds and Imperial Innovations Plc.
